ELMAR Products

ELMAR - Real-Time Framework

The ELMAR platform is designed to meet the demands of industries requiring real-time applications, including semiconductor, defense, automotive, aerospace, aviation, laboratory, medical technologies, and renewable energies. Centered around AMD® Zynq® UltraScale+™ MPSoCs and developed by Trenz Electronic, the framework supports the integration of low latency closed-loop algorithms. These can function concurrently with an embedded Linux distribution, managed via a lightweight hypervisor which distinctly separates Linux management and real-time operations, based on an RTOS. A proprietary inter-core communication (ICC) system ensures synchronized communication among ARM® cores. The embedded Linux system enhances field administration through a web server, parameter management, firmware update capability, and additional utilities. The platform's efficiency is further validated through complex industrial algorithms using Simulink®, facilitating high-performance operations essential for real-time control systems.
