Many years of experience over a wide range of applications enables us to develop and optimise tailor made Economisers for all forms of combustion processes and associated fuels. The economisers of Ekströms Värmetekniska AB design are manufactured and delivered in accordance with our customers’ requirements, and are shipped either as loose components suitable for on-site assembly or as complete units inclusive of casings.

Ekströms Värmetekniska AB offers air preheaters both for steam and water as heating media. The air preheaters consist of our own made spiral fin tubes in carbon steel or stainless steel. We design the air preheaters according to the customers’ demands. An air preheater from Ekströms is build for a long life in an industrial environment. The air preheaters are designed and manufactured in accordance with recognised international standards, EU/PED 97/23/EC.

An economiser with resistance welded straight fin tubes from Ekströms Värmetekniska AB is often the natural choice. It combines the flexability in shape, geometry and materials in relation to fuel type, dust load and temperatures. Ekströms offers single and a double tube design of steel finned tubes.

This light and cost effective construction is the best alternative when choosing heat exchangers for clean gases as natural gas, propane and air. It provides a sturdy construction and can be varied in a wide range of dimensions. Spiral fin tubes from Ekströms Värmetekniska AB are completely high frequency welded in the contact surface between the fin and the tube to give the best heat transfer. Ekströms offers both solid and serrated, (segmented), type of fin.

Ekströms high quality Cable clamps for fastening of high voltage cables in dimensions from Ø45mm up to Ø150mm. Ekströms offers cable clamps for cable dimensions from Ø45mm up to Ø150mm. The cable clamps are made of an aluminum alloy that is highly corrosion resistant and weldable. Complete bolt sets with springs are supplied in stainless or galvanized design. The bolted joint is spring-loaded to cope with the large stresses that can occur in the event of a short circuit. Between the aluminum clamp and the cable is placed an EPDM rubber spacer partly for increased friction (better grip at axial forces in the cable), and more even distribution of load and to avoid damage to the cable.
