With over thirty years of experience in this industry, and consistent with its strategy of diversification, Elecnor has evolved into one of the leading suppliers of gas related services, covering everything from gas pipeline transportation to domestic distribution.

Elecnor has ample railway industry experience, enabling it to carry out electrification, signalling, interlock, communications and control system turnkey projects for railways, metros, trams and trolley buses.

In wind energy, Elecnor has not only built numerous turnkey wind farms throughout Spain for various developers, but also acts as a developer and operator through its subsidiary Enerfín.

Elecnor is firmly committed to entering as a benchmark investor, diversifying its renewable energy portfolio with photovoltaic and thermoelectric solar energy projects. In this section, Elecnor has developed three 50 MW thermosolar plants, Astexol located in the municipality of Badajoz, and Aste 1A and Aste 1B, also of 50 MW each, located in Alcázar de San Juan (Ciudad Real), in which the company holds a majority stake.

Elecnor currently has 20 electricity transmission concessionaires in Brazil and Chile, with a combined 11,485 MVA of capacity and 5,741 km of lines.

Elecnor boasts vast experience and a strong track record in gas infrastructure development in Spain and a number of Latin American markets. In Mexico, for example, Elecnor will be responsible for constructing, operating and maintaining the Morelos gas pipeline, which is approximately 160 km in length.
