ElectraTherm - 150 kW, Low Temperature Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC)

This low temperature, waste heat recovery unit is ideal for heat sources above 70C. A simple and robust design along with proprietary technologies give the ElectraTherm ORC system the lowest heat requirements in its class while still achieving high efficiencies through inconsistencies in the heat source. This makes ElectraTherm's systems ideal for small-scale applications or those with varying thermal output. ElectraTherm's ORC systems have seen global implementation, were developed in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Energy, tested by multiple academic organizations, and demonstrated by the U.S. Department of Defense to achieve a 10% increase in engine efficiency through ORC power generation, fuel reduction, and reduction of the engine cooling load.

ElectraTherm - Net-Zero Cooling and Organic Rankine Cycle Power Generation 75 kW

The Active Cooler acts as a net-zero cooling to power solution, meeting the cooling system's requirements while generating clean electricity as a secondary function when the cooling load is not at peak demand. The Active Cooler (AC800) cools up to 800 kWth and can generate up to 75 kWe. Units can be configured to higher thermal loads. The Active Cooler Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) process converts fluid heat sources - such as engine jacket water and low temperature geothermal - into clean electricity. In the process the excess heat is utilized rather than wasted, generating power while reducing the cooling load up to 100%. This allows the ORC system to prioritize cooling and the production of electricity when conditions are optimal. Processes will always require cooling, ElectraTherm provides a cost-effective and sustainable alternative to traditional radiators and cooling towers.
