Telecontrols - Simple Signal Transmission

EES - Unidirectional 2-Wire Multiplexer

The two-wire transmission system ZS8A was especially designed for cable-saving and immune to disturbance transmission of messages, commands and analog values over control lines with up to 15 km distance. The ZS8A system has no certain demand on the quality of the used cable fortransmission, it has a high disturbance immunity against couplings from supply or signalling lines run in parallel. Therefore it is suitable for signal transmission in branched water /wastewater plants, industrial facilities and railway plants as well as building automation.

EES - Modular Radio Telecontrol System

The MFW offers a wide range of transmission media for the transmission of e.g. digital and analogue values or states from measuring instruments which are coupled via field buses. A unique feature is the radio transmission over different frequency bands which are free of charge and registration free as well as radio subject to registration.

EES - Modular Telecontrol Network System

The MFW Modular Telecontrol Network has been specially designed for the signal transmisson on live cables and cable screens. If control cables are missing or there is no network coverage, the MFW Powerline telecontrol system is suitable, which uses a very safe carrier-frequency process for signal transmission and has therefore proven itself for use in harsh, interference-contaminated industrial environments. The MFW is suitable for bridging distances of several kilometres. The MFW power line telecontrol system operates as standard with a carrier frequency of 109.4 kHz. This means it corresponds to class 122. The operating materials of this class are suitable for general use and therefore do not require any notification or permission from registration authorities.

EES - Two-Wire Modular Telecontrol System

The two-wire variant of the modular telecontrol system MFW was especially designed for data transmission on electrically isolated two-wire cables. There is no need of laying special cables in the ground. The common, often existing signal cables can be used for data transmission. There are no specific cable quality requirements, so that even on very old cables transmission is often possible. Only the maximum loop resistance, which results in the sum of the resistance of each single conductor, has not to be exceeded. The noise immunity of the data transmission on the two-wire line is very high. The cable routing can be done either in line, star or branch system.  In addition, the transmission  can be encrypted when used, for example, in critical infrastructures. The distance between 2 stations can usually be up to 20km.

EES - Optical Fibre Modular Telecontrol System

This variant of the MFW modular telecontrol system was developed for data transmission on "singlemode" or "multimode" optical fibres. The telecontrol system always consists of 2 stations which transmit the respective data in point-to-point configuration. The use of optical fibres as transmission medium guarantees a robust, interference-free transmission over long distances, even in harsh, interference-contaminated environments.

EES - Fault Annunciator with Internal Modem

For unoccupied or large installations an on-site fault annunciator equipment is not sufficent. The supervisors must be informed continuously about the operation and failure conditions and if necessary to be able to take action also from the distance.

EES has been known for over 40 years as a manufacturer of reliable and innovative fault indication technology. The indication modules are the simplest form of fault annunciating technology.

EES - Standard Fault Annunciator

In control and monitoring systems, there is a frquent demand for a simple fault indicator to be used as universally as possible. The wiring effort should be limited to a minimum; there is no space for additional controlling elements left. The devices of the series SSM are simple, very compact fault annunciator units for switchboard panel mounting. They provide LED displays with wide reading angle, integrated push buttons for lamptest and acknowledgement of lamps and horn as well as relay contacts for collective reports and horn triggering. Depending on the annunciator variant, the supply and signal voltage can range up to 250 V AC/DC. The wiring is done by pluggable terminals and the description of the LEDs can be done by slide-in labelling strips.

EES - Basic Fault Annunciator

The basic fault annunciator series BSM-C - easily adaptable to your application with just a few settings. The BSM-C is available in 6 different sizes from 8 to 48 signal inputs. Because of its easy and intuitive handling and parameterisation via DIP switches the BSM-C is suitable for all classic annunciator applications. Numerous options like integrated repeat relays, redundant power supply or scalability to up to 192 signal inputs allow for an optimal adaption to the respective application. New features like status retention in the case of power failure, bigger LED-areas or optional switchover to unmanned operation via a function input ensure the information integrity on-site at any time. In addition, a switchover to operating indication instead of fault alarm processing via DIP switches can be carried out card by card (8 inputs each). EPLAN macros facilitate the design and documentation of circuit diagrams.
