INTENT OF STUDY The intent of a Gas Line Certification study is to document, evaluate and make appropriate recommendations in order that the hospital will be in compliance with the National Fire Protection Association`s guidelines on medical gas and vacuum systems as outlined in their publication ANSI/NFPA 99C: `Gas and Vacuum Systems`.
