FAMET - Reactors
Reactors vessel type or column type equipment for carrying out chemical reactions. There is a great diversity of design solutions resulting from a great variety of chemical processes. They may be a column reactors ( plate, packed or unpacked ones) or vessel reactors (packed, pebble-bed or fluidized-bed ones). FAMET - Air Preheaters
Air pre-heaters are mainly applied in power industry. Such apparatus is to heat the primary and overfire air by use of steam flowing inside finned tubes. Owing to air pre-heaters one can increase boiler efficiency decreasing chimney loss.

FAMET - Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers

FAMET - Turbine Steam Condensers
This equipment type is used in power industry to condensate of steam coming out from the turbine. This is a special heat-exchanger, mostly shell and tube with fixed tube sheets. Its shape is round (for smaller turbines) or box (for large ones). There is a steam subcooling and air suction area inside the specially formed tube bundle (bundles). Condensate tank (cold box) is placed in the shell lower part, while the neck transition piece connecting condenser with turbine is placed in the upper part. Tube side of condenser has usually got cooling water channels with removable cover plates.
