Dual & Self powered overcurrent protection relay using the operating current through three specific current transformers fitted on the lines. These transformers are also used to obtain current measurements. Optionally, SIAB relay can be used with auxiliary power supply (24 Vdc, 110 Vac or 230 Vac). The equipment can be occasionally supplied by an external battery portable kit (KITCOM).

One of the most critical situations in pump operation is dry running. In dry running situations a current decrease is detected. This reduction of consumed current is measured by the PS-R electronic relay fitted to the protection panel: When the preset undercurrent value is reached it switches the pump off.

The SIL-G is a perfect protection relay for primary distribution which can protect a feeder by means of current, voltage and frequency functions. It also has the advantage to provide with the main functions to protect a generator protecting decoupling, load shedding and loss of main (islanding). It is normally used with a circuit breaker as cutting element.

SIL-B  Relays are for primary distribution which is ideal to protect a feeder by means of current and voltage functions and it is normally used with a circuit breaker as cutting element.

SIL-D relay is designed to protect MV systems with isolated neutral. In switchgears with isolated neutral, the earth fault calculation cannot be done as an exact value due to it is not dependent from the short circuit power. It depends on the MV system capacitor it is connecting to. For this reason, the earth fault is related with the network voltage and with the features of the lines connected to the mentioned system.

SIA-F protection relay is suitable to protect installations against O/C and E/F. Its compact size makes this relay adequate for installition where the space is critical. Optionally, other protection functions as the thermal image (ANSI 49) the trip block for switch disconnector and control functions as the monitorization of the CB (ANSI 52), The breaker failure (ANSI 50BF) can be included.
