The ECoil Mobile Transformer Oil Regeneration System (Model RS-M) has been specifically designed for the on-site regeneration of insulating mineral oil in energized or de-energized transformers. The ECoil can be utilized for tank to tank regeneration as well. The ECoil Transformer Oil Regeneration plant uses a special blend of Fuller’s Earth Clay, permanently installed in skid mounted columns. The dirty oil is directed through the columns by forced percolation. The Transformer Oil Regeneration process effectively removes contaminants such as acids and sludge from the oil, rectifies the colour and restores the oxidation stability of the oil. In addition to the regenerating capabilities, the ECoil system incorporates a heater, degasser and particulate removing filters. The result is complete degasification, dehydration and filtration of the oil.

The ECoil Stationary Transformer Oil Regeneration System (Model SRS) has been specifically designed to regenerate insulating mineral oil on a tank to tank basis. Although conventional Oil Purification Systems are able degas and dehydrate oil, other systems do not have the capabilities to cost effectively remove contaminants such as acids, sludge and other decaying products. The ECoil Stationary Transformer Oil Regeneration system has been developed to cost effectively remove contaminants such as sludge and other decaying product as well as improving colour and oxidation stability.

Filtervac offers On-Line Tap Changer Filtration Systems for the continuous removal of carbon, water and metallic particles in Tap Changers. These contaminants are present in Tap Changers due to arcing contacts during the transfer of loads from tap-to-tap in the tap changer compartments. The Filtervac System is designed to improve the overall reliability of the Load Tap Changer and the Distribution Transformer itself and is also designed to reduce operation and maintenance costs. A variety of options are available to meet specific customer’s requirements and budgets.

The FilterVac stationary, portable and mobile High Vacuum Transformer Oil Purifiers (Model VPH) are used for transformer oil degasification, dehydration, filtration and optional de-acidification. The VPH works equally as well with other electrical insulating liquids such as silicone fluids. The VPH Process is able to increase and maintain the oil’s dielectric strength by removing free and soluble water, free and dissolved gases and particulate matter. The standard Transformer Oil Purifier is designed for processing oil in workshops, storage tanks or directly in energized or de-energized transformers.FilterVac offers a variety of Transformer Oil Purifier flow rates and options to suit every customer’s requirements. Optional features offered are conventional Fuller’s Earth filter(s) or column(s) for acidity and colour rectification.

Filtervac Turbine Oil Purifier (Model VPL) utilizes a vacuum dehydration process to remove emulsified and dissolved water from turbine oil as well as fine particulate and gasses. The Turbine Oil Purifier system are self-contained, skid mounted and offer a P.L.C. controlled full status control panel for fully automatic operation.

Conventional Fuller’s Earth Filtration Systems are designed and engineered to remove contaminants such as acids, waxes, gums, resins, asphalts, sludge, carbon, surfactants and traces of free water from various oils and liquids. In addition these systems are able to rectify the colour and remove odour.

FilterVac offers a unique reactivatable Fuller’s Earth system. This package allows 200 to 500 reactivations of the same Fuller’s Earth before it can be inexpensively disposed of as a non-hazardous substance. The system can be designed as a stationary plant or mobile unit. This machine offers a high return on investment with the added benefit of being environmentally responsible. In light of present and future waste disposal restrictions, this system will provide service for many years to come. A variety of flow rates and configurations are available to suit the application.

Water and particle contamination is one of the primary reasons for reduction in oil life and for machinery components degradation.

Filtervac combines the use of an Alfa Laval Disc Stack Centrifuge with a Filtervac Vacuum Dehydrator and a particulate removing filter housing to provide for removal of all forms of water (free, emulsified and dissolved) down to less than 100 ppm as well as particulate contamination.

The Max Oil Purification System utilizes similar technology to the Mini Oil Purification System but it is designed with a much larger capacity and is able to provide the most efficient oil purification package available on the market.
