Coal Storage Silo

Coal storage silo are used in some power plants and coal mines. Concrete silo and steel silo are both wildly used in coal storage, concrete silos cost more money and time to built one. Since lipp coal storage silo is more popular and has more advantage than concrete silo. It is wildly used in the area of grain and oil, brewing, building materials, environmental protection, chemical industry, energy and other industries. Lipp Silo is invented by a German named Xaver Lipp. This silo technology was introduced to China in 1960s and 1970s, and start its application in the field of cement building materials in 1980s. Now it has been widely used in cement plant, grinding station, hydropower station, thermal power station, and cement transfer depot.

Fly Ash Silos

Fly ash is a useful material in a lot of areas, it is one of the product after the burning of coal, composed by exiguous particles that are driven out of a boiler with the flue gases. In chemical and physical, there are many forms of fly ash, the typical type of fly ash contains much silicon dioxide and calcium oxide, which make it frictional and abrasive. Usually, the size distribution of fly ash with most less than 100microns. It is a kind of material that hard to handle because of it’s characteristic of fine particle size, frictional nature and high temperature. Nowadays, fly ash is captured by electrostatic precipitators or other particle filtration equipment generally before the flue gas reaches the chimneys. With the coal ash that removed from the bottom of the boiler together called fly ash.

Calcined Petroleum Coke Silo

Flyer also provide storage steel silo for calcined petroleum coke. Petroleum coke is a solid black or dark gray solid petroleum product with a metallic luster and is porous. It is a carbonaceous material composed of tiny graphite crystals that are granular, columnar or acicular. The main uses of petroleum coke are prebaked anodes and anode pastes for electrolytic aluminum, carbon additives for the carbon industry, graphite electrodes, silicon for smelting industry, and fuels.
