Chambers exposed to high temperatures are part of many processes and technolo¬gies. These chambers are usually charac¬terized by high temperature combustion gases, particle bodies (and sometimes a highly corrosive environment. Maintenance and inspection measurements can usually only be done when the chambers have been shut down and cooled down. With the Hytim-camera system Fraunhofer UMSICHT offers the opportunity to gain visual information and knowledge of systems under operating or quasi-opera¬ting conditions.
