Combined Heat and Power Systems for Wastewater Treatment Plants

Due to the power and heat flow characteristics of waste water treatment plants, f.u.n.k.e. SENERGIE combined heat and power systems are perfectly suited to provide the power demand. Sewage gas amount is about 15 to 35 litres per resident per day has an energy content of about 585 BTU/ cubic foot. (By comparison, the energy content of natural gas equals about 970 BTU/ cubic foot.)

Combined Heat and Power Systems (CHPS) for Natural and Liquid Gas

Senergie CHP units not only produce energy, they convert up to 95% of the used primary energy into power and heat. Through our cogenerated heat and power units, much higher rate of fuel utilization can be reached than through separate electricity and heat production. Here substantial amounts of energy and thus emissions can be saved. Since natural and propane gas have the lowest CO2 and particle matter emissions of all used common primary energy sources and usually are available in the communal areas of responsibility on part of the energy provider, our CHPs, which are fuelled with these energy sources, preferably are used in communal properties and buildings. Due to essential improvements of the German CHP law and the CHP impulse program our cogeneration power plants are of special interest everywhere where a lot of heat and in optimal cases also much energy is needed. As an example only a few are named here: larger hotels, slaughterhouses and large bakeries.

CHP Units

f.u.n.k.e. SENERGIE GmbH builds, supplies and operates turnkey CHP units based on natural gas and propane gas, sewage gas and biogas with nationwide service. Our product program for sewage gas plants includes cogeneration heat and power plants (CHP) of 30 to 500 kWel. In addition we produce units for gas cleansing, semi and fully automatic lubricant refill systems and customer specific special solutions.

Privately-owned Power Plant

The concept of a privately-owned power plant increasingly discussed in view of increasing energy prices and understanding of the need for sustainable environmental protection is based on the realistic perspectives of tailor-made decentralised energy generation.  Decentralised energy generation reaches an essentially higher degree of efficiency and lower burdening than can be reached with the large power plants of the conventional energy producers. In the meantime there are diverse possibilities to generate, as an energy producer, your own energy through combined power-heat generation both in residential units (power generating heating) and municipalities as well as in industry and commerce.
