The RUP Series from GBS Elektronik comprises high voltage pulse generators designed to cater to a diverse range of applications, notably plasma ionization. These pulse generators offer flexible adjustment capabilities for pulse parameters such as frequency, pulse width, and amplitude, allowing them to accommodate a variety of load impedances. Noteworthy models include the RUP3, RUP6, RUP6 bipolar, RUP7, RUP8, and those utilizing tube technology. For example, the RUP3 features a semiconductor module enabling high-resistance load support with swift rise times. The RUP6 series utilizes IGBT half-bridge modules that allow for extensive pulse width flexibility. Conversely, the RUP6 bipolar provides dual polarity pulse options. The RUP7 series is tailored for inductive dominance, while the RUP8 emphasizes high voltage output and compact design. Tube-based models (RUP1-2, RUP4-5) bear advantages such as inherent current limitation but require shielding due to x-rays.

The MCA527 is the successor of the MCA166 and is equipped with highly developed hardware. The digital design allows higher throughput, a greater variability in parameter settings and a wider application range. The MCA527 can be controlled by RS232, Ethernet and USB.

NScan is a computer controlled device that can measure signals from counter detectors (neutron counter, Geiger-Müller counter tube, etc.). The NScan has a motor control unit, which can be used to control the motion of the detector. A main application of NScan is automated verification measurements on deposits of nuclear waste. The communication and power supply is via the USB port of the computer.
