Ensuring the temperature, corrosion, and vibration resistance of harnesses specifically in the engine compartment is a particular challenge for which our product portfolio provides appropriate solutions.

EDS (electrical distribution system) harnesses are used to supply power to certain units in the vehicle. Depending on the harness design, GG Group manufactures its products with highly automated production processes. Our EDS power supply harnesses get integrated into the main body harness by system suppliers.

Battery cables connect the power-consuming units in the vehicle. Our battery cables G6 ENFLEX® are made from copper conductor material up to 95 mm2 and aluminum conductor material up to 240 mm2 for standard temperature categories (T2-T6).
Our products are optimized for further processing by our customers. We stand out with our customized solutions for strand and cable constructions. Releases by automotive manufacturers are available.

We produce single-core wires (cross-sections of 0.13 mm2 to 6.0 mm2) with various insulation materials for signal transmissions to various units within the vehicle. They are suitable for temperature ranges of up to 200 °C. In addition to copper, we also use innovative conductor materials such as aluminum, copper tin (CuSn) and copper silver (CuAg). The former is distinguished by its low weight while the latter two can fit into smaller spaces.

Our HV cables GG HIGHVOLT® are made of copper and aluminum in shielded and unshielded versions in line with the applicable standards. The low weight of aluminum cables makes them particularly suitable for HV wiring systems. Together with our customers, we continuously optimize the processing features. We can also produce flat designs, as well as special strand and cable constructions.
