Consulting
Geothermal Projects Consulting Services
Geothermal projects are characterized by a set of specific conditions that clearly differentiate them from other types of investment. Especially for geothermal projects we have developed a series of tools in order to carry out analyses of economic viability and due diligence assessments in a target-oriented way.
Business Consulting Services
As consultants we analyse the operational framework based on your envisaged business targets, assess the potential for development together with you, define the target-oriented measures and implement them. The experience and expertise of the individual business consultant is one of the main pillars in our company. The kind of consulting service we offer is in practice only possible with experienced professionals.
Geothermal Energy
Geothermal Energy Services
Geothermal systems exploit heat from underground to produce energy for heating purposes, and where geothermal temperatures are sufficiently high, this heat can be used to generate electrical energy. The term surface geothermal is used to refer to sources down to a depth of 400 metres, below that we use the term deep geothermal. In the field of geothermal energy gec-co is involved exclusively with deep geothermal projects for the production of heating energy and/or electricity. There is also a distinction between hydrothermal geothermal energy, where water-bearing underground strata are present, and enhanced geothermal systems (EGS) where man-made heat exchangers are created underground.
Project Management
Project Management Servcies
One important characteristic of geothermal projects is the high initial investment costs compared to projects of conventional power industries. Operating costs for geothermal plants, by contrast, are exceedingly low. It is essential therefore that a geothermal (heat and) power plant is designed not primarily based on technological criteria, but optimised in terms of technical and economical considerations viewed as a whole, for the intended utilisation period. All the activities related to the project have to be drawn together in order to take into account, right from the beginning, any possible future demands. The main task of the project manager is to balance the project requirements with the available human and material resources, the provided financial resources and the appropriate technology to be applied.
