Thermal Response Test (TRT)

The objective of TRTs is to determine site specific thermal properties of the ground around a closed loop borehole. GeoServ use state of the art equipment that allows data to be recorded throughout the duration of the test, typically 2 – 3 days, this data is monitored and then analysed by our expert geologists. The results of the tests allow a cost effective collector to be developed by reducing the capital expenditure and optimising the number of boreholes to be completed, preventing long term operational problems, maximising design performance and reducing the overall operation costs of the system whilst meeting the required energy demands.

Shallow Geothermal Energy

GeoServ provides advice on all aspects of geothermal ground source heat pump collectors, including both residential and commercial systems. Our staff and associates can provide a complete solution for businesses and home owners requiring site assessments and collector design. We have provided advice for domestic home heating systems, small commercial buildings and to both industrial and farming sectors.

Deep Geothermal Energy

GeoServ has been working in the deep geothermal sector for over 10 years, providing services to private sector companies at all stages of project development from project inception with exploration, geological model development and project completion. We specialise in designing and managing exploration and drilling programs and facilitating client fundraising operations.
