As a two-dimensional, i.e. a volume-less material, electrical currents are forced to flow across graphene surface, optimizing their coupling with the environment, leading to high-precision, versatile sensors that can accurately target trace levels of multiple analytes such as contaminants or pathogens simultaneously.
