OceanOne - Wave Power Solutions
Havkraft is pioneering the future of wave power with their modular OceanOne technology, which prioritizes ocean synergy and sustainability. At the core of their innovation is the Havkraft Wave Energy Converter (H-WEC), a key component in their modular system designed like a LEGO set for power generation. This unique Oscillating Water Column (OWC) device transforms the kinetic energy of ocean waves into effective water pistons through a patented multi-chamber system. This enables extensive capture of wave frequencies, resulting in consistent, efficient energy production year-round. OceanOne solutions are highly adaptable, accommodating different oceanic environments, and can integrate with existing structures or function as standalone units. Havkraft has extensively tested the technology readiness level (TRL) of their H-WEC over more than a decade and is now implementing these advancements in early-stage global projects. The Low-Rider model suits locations with wave power density below 15 kW/m and short wave periods, while the High-Rider model excels in rougher waters using OWC and POBO technologies for maximized power output. The Integrated One provides versatile integration into local infrastructures, supporting both off-grid and on-grid energy needs.
