SIMEC Biomass Pellets Torrefaction Plant is developed to convert densified “white” biomass pellets into “black” torrefied pellets. The complete torrefaction plant is designed and built by Henan Sinovo Machinery Engineering Co. Ltd (SIMEC), while the torrefaction reactor and the process adopt the patented technology from our strategic partner. The technology provides the opportunity to torrefy “white” biomass pellets directly with minimal dust and small particles, thus safeguarding the quality of torrefied “black” pellets to meet international standard, while optimizing the overall energy consumption of the complete plant.

This kind of biomass multifunction pyrolysis burner can convert various kinds of recyclable agriculture wastes, like crop straws, stalks, forest wastes, like wood roots, wood chips, wood branches and leaves, and other scraps from the timber factories into highly efficient heat supply source for blast heaters, boilers and other factories which needs the qualified and continuous heating supply.

Cooling of pellets is an indispensable process of pelletizing section. Temperature of granules from pellet mill can be reduced from 70?~90? to 3? ~5? higher than the room temperature by using the reverse-flow cooler, and to the required  moisture(≤10%) for the convenience of pellet transport and preservation.
