HEX20 - EPS - Advanced Electrical Power Supply System for Spacecraft

The Hex20 EPS is an advanced electrical power supply system designed to efficiently manage power generation and distribution in spacecraft. Derived from the InspireSat-1 bus architecture, it incorporates multiple functionalities aimed at optimizing performance. These include maximum peak power tracking for solar arrays, battery charging management both onboard and externally, voltage regulation, and effective power distribution. Enhanced data acquisition capabilities ensure precise monitoring and analysis of power parameters. Key features of the EPS board include 3.3V, 6V, and 12V voltage regulators, a launch vehicle separation sense switch, deployment switches, and sensors for voltage, current, and temperature measurements. This system is essential for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of spacecraft electrical systems.
