The Model 7200-00 Lightning Protection Device reduces the risk of system failure for equipment frequently exposed to lightning storms. Electrical surges due to lightning are common sources of sensor and data acquisition equipment failures. Although protection against a direct lightning strike can not be guaranteed, the Model 7200-00 minimizes the amount of energy that will get through to the equipment. It diverts the strike energy to the Earth through a deliberate and controlled path so that no damage will be incurred.

The 5600 Series of valve-regulated batteries set the standard for quality and excellence in rechargeable leadacid battery technology. These batteries feature a lead-lead dioxide system with a suspended dilute sulfuric acid electrolyte. Excessive pressurebuild up due to overcharging is avoided with special one-way valves that allow dry gas to escape from inside the case. Each battery is ackaged in a high impact polystyrene case, allowing operation and storage in any position without leakage.

The Model 5310-00 ProTech Solar Panel Voltage Regulator is intended for float charging of lead acid batteries. It is compatible with solar arrays whose current output is less than or equal to 3 Amperes. It may be used with any size lead-acid battery. Unlike some other regulators, the Model 5310-00 will not damage your battery due to overcharging. The 5310-00 will act as a blocking diode when the battery voltage is greater than the solar array voltage.

The Model 5330 Surge Suppressor is a dual pair (four wire) module implementing three-stage hybrid technology. This module addresses over voltage transients with gas tubes and silicon avalanche omponents. In addition, sneak and fault currents are mitigated with resettable fuses (PTCs). The PTCs increase resistance several orders of magnitude when over currents exceed safe levels. A normal state resumes when over currents are removed.

The Model 5603-00 Battery Float Charger is designed to provide optimum life for batteries used in standby applications. The charger delivers a constant voltage of 13.7 volts which allows the battery to seek its own current level and maintain itself in a fully charged condition. The Model 5603-00 is packaged in a high impact resistant thermoplastic housing and features awall mount plugin design. A 6 foot interface cord with battery connectors is included.

The Model 5605-00 Battery Maintenance System is an intelligent, micro-controller based charge/discharge system. It is used The discharge time is recorded and can be displayed on the unit`s LED display. There is also an LED to indicate the operating mode. During a cycle, the voltage, current, or elapsed time can be displayed. to test the ability and fully characterize a battery. The 5605-00 will test and determine if the battery will accept and hold it’s specific charge prior to placing it in the field.

The Model 5606-00 Battery Charger is a quality unit that converts standard 120 VAC, 60Hz power into regulated 13.8VDC power. It is ideal for powering a wide range of equipment designed to run on 12 VDC power, primarily Store & Forward Repeaters. The Model 5606-00 features a solidstate integrated circuit which provides excellent voltage regulation to within ±.05 VDC; output voltage is maintained from 0 to 95% of full load.
