Hilliard - Industrial Centrifugal Clutch

The Hilliard centrifugal clutch provides automatic, gradual, cushioned engagement over a speed range on high-inertia loads. It smooths out and reduces starting current surge. Centrifugal clutches are slip-free at rated load and speed. They protect against overload by limiting torque, absorbing shock and eliminating torsional resonance. Hilliard centrifugal clutches have soft transmission of power and load free starting.

Hilliard`s Centrifugal Refrigeration Clutches are built for use in transport refrigeration systems including trucks, trailers, rail units, and cold chain applications. Designed for both OEM and aftermarket use, they support a wide range of compressor and drivetrain setups. These clutches feature automatic and gradual engagement, shock-absorbing performance, and torque-limiting capability for smooth, reliable operation. Hilliard Friction - Torque Limiters

Torque limiters and couplings are designed to slip during a torque overload, while still transmitting the adjusted torque. They provide dependable solutions to the problems of torque control and overload protection in power transmission equipment. These clutches include one or more friction discs mounted on an inner hub, a single nut adjustment to easily pre-sets the torque. Similar static and dynamic coefficients of friction provide for extremely smooth torque control.

Hilliard - Extreme Duty Centrifugal Clutch

The patented Hilliard Extreme Duty Centrifugal Clutch has been engineered in pulley and sprocket versions to provide long service life and is ideal for retrofit or new equipment applications. A thermodynamically designed clutch shoe increases the clutch`s capacity to absorb heat without damaging the integrity of the clutch.

Hilliard Inferno - Industrial Fury Clutch

The Inferno Fury is an economical racing clutch designed for durability. The sprockets are heat treated steel and the hub is heat treated. The Fury is available with an oil impregnated bronze bushing, or a needle bearing. The Fury is a long lasting low maintenance design with some tunability. The Fury clutch can handle excessive heat and give you consistent torque all race season. The Fury clutch is a great choice for the super heavy class.

Hilliard Inferno - Industrial Flame Clutch

The Flame clutch includes all of the design advantages of the Fury but also includes several additional features. The clutch is fully tunable with optional weights. The optional weights alow the racer to make small adjustments to the engaging speed for optimal performance. The shoes have been designed to reduce chatter and provide smoother engagement over the Fury clutch. The shoes are lighter than a Fury shoe which reduces the inertia and include cleaning grooves to collect dirt/debris. The cleaning grooves maintain a smooth drum surface with less galling. The quick change springs, tuning weights, and new shoe design (with increased surface area) make the Flame clutch a great choice for the clone or LO206 for weight classes 400# or less. It is recommended to add the optional weights for super heavy classes.

Hilliard Inferno - Fire Racing Clutch

The Inferno Fire racing clutch is the latest engineered product for the racing industry. The Fire clutch includes all of the design advantages of the Flame with several new features that make the Fire the best drum clutch available on the market. The Fire clutch has a bonded friction lining that improves consistency and performance. The friction material has been engineered to have a dynamic coefficient of friction that is very close to the static coefficient of friction. This creates a flatter engagement profile with less engine bogging during lock-up. The racer can utilize the optional weights to fine tune the clutch to keep the rpm in a band close to peak engine torque. This is very important for sprint racing to get the best acceleration off the corners.

Hilliard Auto Lok - Equal Power Transferred Drive Train

The Hilliard Auto-Lok Differential offers equal power transferred to both wheels on an axle regardless of traction, allowing positive back drive through both wheels. The self- contained unit locks and unlocks automatically providing the benefits of both an open and locked differential, depending on the ground conditions. Benefits include improved traction and easier operation and steering.

Hilliard - Continuously Variable Transmission System

Hilliard offers a Continuously Variable Transmission that is more advanced than any other belt drive system currently on the market. The Hilliard clutch system utilizes a tight belt which allows for seamless engine braking and belt protection at start up and during overload situations, to extend belt life. Hilliard`s CVT system is designed to fit a wide variety of clutch envelopes, so no expensive modifications are required for new vehicles or on replacements for vehicles currently in the field. The Hilliard clutch system is currently tuned for many platforms, including ATV`s, UTV`s and side by sides.

Hilliard - Front Drive System (Differential)

The Hilliard Front Drive System is an electro-mechanically activated bidirectional overrunning clutch. When 12 volts of power are sent via the 4WD switch, the unit is activated to engage both front wheels instantaneously, whenever the rear wheels lose traction. The clutch also releases or overruns automatically the instant the rear wheels regain traction. Because torque is transmitted to both front wheels, it is a “true” 4WD. The overrunning characteristics of this system allow for an on-demand 4WD engagement and steering ease. Typical applications for Hilliard’s front differential include, ATV’s UTV’s, side by sides and compact tractors.
