Heat Exchangers - Multitube Heat Exchangers
HRS - Double Tubeplate Industrial Heat Exchangers
The HRS SI Series is a multitube shell and tube heat exchanger designed with the added security of a double tubeplate, providing leak detection to avoid cross contamination between the service and product fluids. The HRS SI series is perfect for industrial applications. Using our corrugation technology, heat transfer and efficiency are increased over standard smooth tube heat exchangers. In addition, potential fouling is minimised.
Heat Exchangers - Plate Heat Exchangers
HRS - Brazed Plate Heat Exchanger
The HRS Brazed Plate Heat Exchanger range works on the same principle as conventional plate heat exchangers, but consists of a pack of corrugated plates joined together and sealed by furnace brazing. Typically the units are copper brazed, however for applications where the medium is aggressive to copper, or for where temperatures range from 225°C to 400°C, then nickel is used. The plates are manufactured as standard from high-grade AISI 316 acid resistant steel with a thickness of either 0.35mm or 0.4mm dependent on the model type. HRS brazed plate heat exchangers are suitable for heat recovery in the chemical, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and power generation industries, environmental processes and other industries.
HRS - Gasketed Plate Heat Exchanger
HRS Gasketed Plate Heat Exchangers are manufactured as standard from either AISI 304/316 stainless steel or titanium to a thickness of 0.6mm, although plate thickness options of 0.8mm or 1.0mm are also available if required. The exchangers are fitted with EPDM or NBR gaskets with the frames constructed from painted carbon steel. A double seal arrangement around the two ports ensures that if fluid leaks, it passes through the inter-space directly to the outside, avoiding cross contamination.
Systems - Environmental System
HRS - Concentration of Environmental Waste for Renewable Energy
The HRS Digestate Concentration System (DCS) reduces the volume of digestate from anaerobic digestion while increasing its value. In most situations, it is able to do this using surplus heat from the CHP engine or biogas boiler, which can be used up to four times by incorporating multi-effect evaporation technology.
HRS - Biogas Dehumidification System
The HRS Biogas Dehumidification System (BDS) removes water from biogas, protecting combined heat and power (CHP) engines from corrosion and cavitation. It can be supplied with a heat recovery section, increasing the overall efficiency of anaerobic digestion (AD) plants.
