Founded at its headquarters in Herford in 1967, HTT is now proud to look back on a company history spanning more than 50 years. Five decades of HTT reflect an exciting success story characterised above all by continual growth.

Company founder Günter Schmitt and two other partners assembled a qualified team that covered all important functions, thereby laying the cornerstone for a rapid success story. After all, growth was on the horizon.

It all began with our first fired heater, we developed the first pump with an extended shaft and cooling section designed especially for heat transfer technology in 1968. Over the years, further component parts and plants followed offering more efficiency and cost effectiveness.

Already by the 1970s, the old production site had become too small and had to be expanded. This would not be the last expansion. In the 2000s, production sites were expanded, a new administrative building was built and, among other things, a research and development facility was opened.

HTT has been a leader in devising intelligent solutions for recovering process heat in the past and will continue to do so in the future. As a driver of innovation, we always strive to develop the best solutions for your tasks and requirements. After all, we can only succeed if you do. To achieve this, we draw on all our experience and joy in innovation.
