This model replaces the ground breaking and very popular model HVA30. The HVA30 was upgraded to the HVA34 to accommodate the new testing requirements for 25kV rated cables as per the latest revision of IEEE400.2 testing standard. Arguably the top selling VLF/DC instrument on the market, this instrument has become the standard for testing 25kV rated cables and below. The upgraded model includes an even more powerful output while keeping the same overall weight, physical dimensions, and user interface.

The HVA30-7 Extra Power VLF/DC Hipot model was designed primarily for electrical utilities that have large complex cable networks that demand a very powerful test instrument to overcome the large loads presented by these long cable systems. Capable of testing up to 150,000ft / 45km of cable - it does not get much more powerful than this. This instrument, like all other HVA models, provides a very powerful high voltage DC output in addition to the VLF AC output.

The PD60-2 is a portable two-piece Partial Discharge (PD) measurement and location system with Integrated Tan Delta that interfaces to the HVA45TD or HVA60 AC VLF test systems. The PD60, rated at 62kV peak test voltage, allows the operator to detect, locate and map PD in cable systems up to 35kV. Ideal for PD testing on 35kV MV collector networks found in wind and solar farms.

The BA75 has a maximum output of 75kV, more than sufficient to meet almost all testing standards worldwide. This rugged, portable instrument is the smallest and lightest unit on the market with an integrated battery and carry handle that makes it ideally suited for the field environment. With a color, ultra-bright sunlight viewable LCD display, this unit is equally at home in the testing laboratory as it is in the field. The intuitive, menu driven display, with built-in international testing sequences, allows the user to simply start a test cycle and the unit takes over and completes the test. Results are sent to an integrated printer for an immediate hardcopy. In addition a PDF file can be created directly by the unit and stored onto a standard memory stick.
