Model BT 4 - Single Stage Back Pressure Turbine

Model BCT-6 - Extraction Condensing Turbine
BCT-6 is the universal turbine of choice for small power plants. It’s rugged construction and simplified control system ensures long duration between overhauls, and simple operation for Power plant managers. The rigid rotor construction ensures operators do not have to worry about high-speed balancing and critical speeds during start-up. An extraction connection is provided for process steam requirements. The turbine has found wide acceptance in Biomass based, Waste to Energy and Captive generation power plants as well as district heating applications.

This high efficiency single stage turbine features a large wheel diameter, for improved efficiency. Nozzle governing with 3 valves ensures superior efficiency at part-load conditions. An integral Woodward / RE governor ensures simple operation and high reliability. Suitable for use with Synchronous and asynchronous generators. Its flexibility has made it a popular choice for mechanical drive applications. A combination of pressurised and ring lubrication along with between bearings shaft design between has ensured full API 611 compliance and 612 compliance (with exceptions). The unique combination of high efficiency, operational flexibility, moderate acquisition cost and minimum maintenance has found wide acceptance in the sugar, calcium carbonate and textile industry.
