As a utility boiler manufactuer taking a major role in supply of stable electricity in the world, IHI has been making great efforts to meet the steam conditions required for improvement of plant efficiency. As a result, IHI has constructed the largest power output boiler in Japan and achieved the world’s highest steam condition.

LM6000 is a simple-cycle, 2-shaft, high performance gas turbine derived from the core of GE’s reliable air craft engine, CF6-80C2. CF6-80C2 has logged more than 76,500,000 operational flight hours, a 99.97% dispatch reliability, and commercial aviation’s lowest shop visit rate.

IHI’s battery systems use lithium-ion battery systems with excellent safety and cycle life. EV buses with IHI’s lithium-ion battery packs are already in operation and we plan to apply them in various other industries. As a key basis for the major rollout of renewable energy, they have attracted increasing attention as future technology.
