The Evaluation board uses TLE8080EM and its brand new companion IC TLE8082ES to provide a comprehensive motorcycle engine control design. The Evaluation board provides an Arduino pinout form factor. It can be controlled with every Arduino compatible microcontroller board. Infineon provides a control software for two different microcontroller boards: XMC1100 Boot Kit and Aurix ShieldBuddy TC275.

The TLE9012AQU belongs to Infineon´s Battery Management Sensing IC product family. The TLE9012AQU is a multi-channel battery monitoring and balancing system IC designed for Li-Ion battery packs used in many applications on the automotive world (Electric Vehicles of any kind MHEV, HEV, PHEV and BEV, etc), industrial (Energy storage systems) and consumer (i.e. ebike BMS, home energy storage, etc).

The TLE9015QU belongs to Infineon´s Battery Management Transceiver IC product family. The TLE9015QU is a battery monitoring transceiver IC designed for connecting several TLE9012AQU devices in a daisy chain inside a Li-Ion battery. By means of its two UART and iso UART interface pairs it can support ring communication improving the availability of the system by a low cost. It also enables bidirectional information flow by including an error management unit including several inputs and outputs that are programmable on each TLE9012AQU.

Cypress` High-Performance Buffers (CY2Dx/CY2Cx series) are a family of low-jitter, non-PLL fanout buffers that deliver up to 10 high-frequency differential outputs (LVPECL, LVDS, or CML) up to 1.5GHz. They deliver the industry’s lowest additive jitter (0.06 ps, typical) and can provide complete high-frequency, low-jitter clock tree solutions in conjunction with CY294x/CY274x parts.
