IE-DRIVE 100 is designed to meet the performance and space constraints of passenger and light commercial fuel cell powered vehicles (LCV), providing peak power up to 110kW in a compact, engine shaped format. The hydrogen fuel cell module and surrounding system has been designed specifically for integration into fuel cell powered vehicles, including cars or LCVs, replacing an existing fossil fuel engine with a zero-emission hydrogen fuel cell. The modular design enables the integration of this to be as straightforward as possible, whilst meeting the challenge of packaging into an existing vehicle.
Intelligent Energy - Hydrogen Fuel Cells Systems for Buses, Trucks and Stationary Power
IE-DRIVE HD100 has been developed by Intelligent Energy (IE) as a complete fuel cell system to provide up to 100kW of continuous power. The hydrogen fuel cell for buses, trucks and stationary power is compact and simple to integrate. The main fuel cell module contains the fuel cell stack and most of the balance of plant, with a series of connections designed that follow the StaSHH standard. IE also supply the heat exchanger and exhaust system to reduce the time and effort required to install our hydrogen fuel cells for buses and trucks.

IE-FLIGHT is is our high-power product line for the aviation sector. From 200kW to multi-megawatt scale, these systems have been developed to achieve zero-emission flight over for eVTOL, CS-23 and CS-25 aircraft serving sub-regional and regional markets. Hydrogen fuel cells offer a zero-emission power source for future sustainable aircraft and are a competitive technology for aircraft potentially up to 100 seats. In development since 2019 under the ATI funded H2GEAR programme, Intelligent Energy’s IE-FLIGHT fuel cell systems offers class-leading current and power densities within an optimised packaging, building an effective foundation for application in future propulsion or APU applications.

The fuel cells for drones have a higher energy to mass ratio than batteries, enabling UAVs to fly further for longer and achieve more.

IE-POWER 1T and 1U are Intelligent Energy’s class leading 1kW fuel cell modules for motive and man-portable applications. With a compact size and high level of robustness, these modules can be easily integrated into systems for use in distribution warehousing, manufacturing facilities, and construction sites. The unique “U-Flow” air management system allows the unit to be integrated and operated efficiently in confined spaces, such as forklift trucks, MEWPs, and mobile lighting towers.
