Modifications are made within the information box, which consists of attribute-value pair strings pointing out current settings. Users are instructed to modify values, retaining the quote encasings and attribute names. Changes are implemented by selecting 'Send', updating the stack with edited properties. The process concludes by disconnecting and power cycling the stack device to ensure the updates are applied.
