Ecowatt Hydro Pelton turbines are water turbines suitable for heads from 20 m to 550 m and the effective flow rates ranging from 0.5 l/s to 350 l/s. The buckets are made of precision cast stainless steel. All Pelton turbines are fitted with six nozzles controlled by special flow regulation valves, which help the efficiency of the system. The operation of the regulation valves may be manual or electric. The water wheel is directly splined to the generator shaft, in order to improve the global output. All the revolving mechanical parts are in stainless steel. Accurate anti-corrosion processes are applied to all the surfaces.

IREM Ecowatt Hydro Banki (cross flow) turbines are suitable for heads from 5 m to 50 m and effective flow rates ranging from 10 l/s to 1000 l/s. The water wheel and mechanical parts are made of stainless steel. The transmission of the motion between wheel and generator is entrusted to a cogged driving belt, which ensures the necessary flexibility of the system and optimizes the transmission itself.

QPR Control Boards are designed for “A” series turbines (parallel operation to the power grid). They manage the plant automation and are fitted with protective devices, power factor correction and the instruments necessary to ensure the good operation of the turbine-generator group. On demand, these control boards may be fitted with remote control.

This type of hydroelectric plants is used when the electrical power is really low and there isn’t a national grid, IREM is able to supply turbines with very lower power and dimensions, satisfying these needs with a product of high quality and reliability. Typical application areas are shelters, cottages or mountain pastures where it is essential to have simple systems, easy to install and less maintenance.
