Products for Energy, Power Quality and RCM Measurement
Janitza - Residual Current Monitoring Devices
The RCM 201-ROGO enables continuous monitoring of TN-S systems and comply with DIN EN 62020/VDE 0663/IEC 62020. This refers to residual current monitoring devices which check circuits for the occurrence of a residual current and trigger an alarm if a set alarm value is exceeded. It is ideally suited for monitoring residual currents in TN-S systems. The main application of the stand-alone device is the measurement of Type A residual current for large cross-section or busbar systems. In combination with a Rogowski coil (included in the scope of delivery), the user enjoys flexibility even in confined spaces and also benefits from the retrofitting capability of the measurement device.
Janitza - Residual Current Monitoring Devices
The RCM 202-AB enables continuous monitoring of TN-S systems and complies with DIN EN 62020/VDE 0663/IEC 62020. This refers to residual current monitoring devices which check circuits for the occurrence of a residual current and trigger an alarm if a set alarm value is exceeded. The two-channel residual current monitoring device is suitable for the monitoring of residual currents type A to Type B+. For standard compliant type A measurement on DIN rails the Janitza RCM 201-ROGO can be used.
Janitza - Modular Energy Measurement Device
COMPACT AND ECONOMICAL – MODULAR DIN-RAIL MEASUREMENT DEVICE WITH RESIDUAL CURRENT MEASUREMENT. The UMG 806 energy measurement device offers the right solution for various requirements. The high-performance basic device is ideally suited for cost-oriented applications and features Modbus RTU. It offers the ability to both measure and record residual currents, among other features. Continuous monitoring of the residual current enables dangerous fault currents to be detected at an early stage, thereby avoiding damage to the system as well as production downtimes. The UMG 806 can be enhanced with three modules: the Ethernet communication module, the analog input module and the digital input module.
Janitza - Power Quality Analyser
The Janitza UMG 512-PRO is particularly well suited to the monitoring of power quality in accordance with current standards, e.g. EN 50160, IEEE519 or EN 61000-2-4.
Products for Industrial Data Communication
Janitza - Smart Energy Panel
The Smart Energy Panel JPC 100-WEB is used for optimum, central display and monitoring of energy measured values. Modbus slave devices (e.g. Janitza UMG 103-CBM) are integrated either via the gateway function of the master device or directly via the RS-485 interface. The clear 10-inch touchscreen is characterised by its simple and user-friendly menu navigation.
Janitza - Modem Easy Gateway
Communication Gateway for wireless and hard-wired communication.
Current Transformers
Janitza - Moulded Case Current Transformers
Moulded case current transformers are used if high currents are to be recorded and further processed. The line to be measured (conductor rail or wire) is fed through the window opening and forms the primary circuit for the plug-on current transformer. Moulded case current transformers are predominantly used for mounting on conductor rails. Through additional potting it is possible to achieve droplet-tightness, as well as greater shock and vibration resistance with mechanical loading (IEC 68). This is the most common and cost-effective form of current transformer. However, the primary conductor must be disconnected during installation. This form of transformer is therefore most commonly used in new system installations.
Janitza - Moulded Case Current Transformers for Billing Purposes
Moulded case current transformer for billing purposes. The applicable regulations for kWh measurement devices can be fulfi lled with these tariff current transformers. All tariff current transformers are equipped with an integrated lockable terminal cover, produced from polycarbonate. The current transformers are supplied with a fastening tool, for mounting on rails or cables. The transformers can be optionally ordered with clips, which enable mounting on a DIN rail.

A key success factor for modern companies is transparency across all data levels. Data from all company divisions must be acquired and consolidated in order to optimize planning for production processes, establish safety measures to protect systems and machines, and save costs, for example. This objective entails a number of challenges, because different standards, interfaces and communication options must be coordinated with each other. Networking areas that were previously examined separately, from the machine level to ERP systems and building management systems is very complex. OPC UA is a data transmission standardization that simplifies this consolidation.
