Components such as welded structures, cold drawn or formed items require stress relieving as stresses are induced in these processes which will deform the components after they are put in use. Our bogie hearth furnaces for stress relieving or stress relief annealing are available with standard configuration as well as configurations custom for the user’s job profile and volume. For lower stress relieving temperatures, 750°C and below a centrifugal fan-based circulation system with stainless steel louvers is implemented to assure adequate convective heat transfer. For higher temperatures, the design is based on radiation heat transfer without air circulation.

JRFURNACE has a full range of Pit type Heat Treatment up to a capacity of 100 MT for hardening, annealing, normalizing, carburizing, nitriding, tempering, aging and stress relieving to offer to industries like Fastener, Bearing, Forge Parts, Gears, Rolls, Strip, Wire, Piston rings etc in steel industries besides cylinder heads and pistons for Aluminium industries. These furnaces are of circular construction with insulated cover which is hydraulically lifted/swivelled for charging or discharging the material into and from the furnace. The charge material can be loaded into the Pit furnace with the help of EOT crane or suitable loading machine. The Pit furnaces can also be offered with quenching facilities and washing machine to suit customers’ requirements.

Ageing Ovens will be Bogie Heath construction and will be used for Ageing of aluminium sheets and products for aerospace and aeronautical applications. Ageing of aluminium extruded products, cycle frames, forged items like rings, etc. The ovens can be designed with complete inner stainless steel construction for long life. Adjustable slotted baffles or fixed sturdy baffles ensure an even and uniform flow of air throughout the inside chamber so that desired temperature stability and uniformity is present throughout the heating cycle. In the process of ageing of aluminium for aerospace components, our chamber ovens are built to meet AMS 2750E Standards.
