Kalfrisa - Recuperators for DRI Plants

The exhaust heat from the direct reduced iron (DRI) process generally consists of two parallel channels, on which heat exchangers are arranged in series in the flue gas exhaust stream.

Kalfrisa - Heat Exchangers

Heat exchangers transfer heat through convection. They are equipment with a much more compact design, which allows rapid and simple assembly.

These recuperators transfer heat (thermal energy)between primary and secondary flows by radiation.

Air Heating - Compact Heaters

VT air heaters are used to indirectly heat air, generally recirculated, in paint curing and drying rocesses. They are designed to be integrated in different input units replacing heating devices. They are suitable for drying processes in which the temperature does not exceed 300ºC and the necessary delta T (thermal jump) is under 70ºC. VT heaters are made of an isolated front panel, combustion chamber, a heat exchanger and a smoke outlet. Optionally, they can be supplied with a smoke box.

Kalfrisa - Compact Heater

VKs are the most powerful indirect air heater for industrial processes in our range. They offer the largest delta T (thermal jump), up to 450ºC. VK serie is manufactured as a single piece to facilitate their installation at the plant, transport and handling. These heaters are used to indirectly heat air for different processes such as flash drying for food, drying of minerals and other materials, obtaining hot air for different uses, etc.They can be fully made of stainless steel to guarantee fulfilment of food sector requirements. They are robust devices which tolerate thermal dilations due to use of compensators well and can operate with different types of fuels. They are supplied in different positions and the position of their inlets and outlets is conveniently adapted according to the clients requirements.

Kalfrisa - Modular Heater

These heaters are especially suitable when working conditions (heating power, temperature increase, working pressure, etc.) exceed the limits established for compact series or semi-series devices. They are large equipments which may include gas recirculation and which take up a rather considerable space. They are tailor designed according client requirements and may be installed in different layouts such as: linear, elbow or U-shaped.

Kalfrisa - Hot Air Generators

Kalfrisa's hot air generators are a modular, rapid and economical solution for heating large spaces. They incorporate an indirect heat exchanger, separating the combustion gas circuit from the clean air circuit. They are a quick response industrial heating system, that can be installed directly in the space to be heated discharging air through a plenum or in annexed spaces through ducts installation.
