Model SWG-12 (SWG-32) - Mobile Cable Test and Fault Location System
Mobile systems SWG-12 and SWG-32 are designed for the following applications: testing insulation of power cables with DC voltage up to 32 kV; conditioning faults by burning faulty cable insulation with DC current up to 100 mA at up to 32 kV voltage; pre-locating cable faults with an aid of the reflectometer RIF-9 using a low-voltage pulse reflection method (TDR) and high-voltage methods: voltage wave oscillation (DECAY), impulse current envelope (ICE), and arc reflection (ARC / ARC multi-shot); pinpointing cable faults with an acoustic method with up to 2000 J surge wave generator and a suitable signal receiver.
Time-Domain Reflectometer
Reflectometer RIF-9 can be used to detect, determine the type of and distance to various inhomogeneities (couplings, branching, etc.), determine the total length (including on drums and in bundles) as well as the velocity factor of balanced and unbalanced power cables and communication lines up to 120 km long. When locating cable faults, the reflectometer RIF-9 can be used standalone for determining the distance to the points of low-resistance cable defects (which formed, for example, naturally or in the process of burning insulation in the damaged area) as well as in conjunction with a high-voltage source or a surge generator for fault pre-location with high-voltage methods of impulse arc reflection, impulse current, and voltage decay.

Model ETL-8 - Compact Cable Test Van
Van-based cable test and fault location system ETL-8 is used for testing cable insulation and locating cable faults using a variety of methods. Due to its compact size, ETL-8 may be installed in a minivan, yet it is a fully-featured cable test and fault location system which incorporates burn module and surge wave generator, and is capable of faults pre-location and cable insulation testing with high DC voltage.
Model ETL-15 - Compact Cable Test Van
ETL-15 is a cable test van used for testing cable insulation and locating faults in power cables. ETL-15 is compact enough to be mounted even in a minivan, yet contains all the equipment typically found in a fully-featured cable test and fault location system, including burn module, surge wave generator, time-domain reflectometer and high-voltage DC test module.

Model LFG-200 - Low Frequency Generator
LFG-200 is a cable test van-mountable low frequency signal generator used as part of a cable tracing and fault location set for the following applications: tracing – determining the route and burial depth of underground cables and other hidden utilities; fault location – inter-core and core-to-sheath short circuits faults pinpointing; cable identification – identifying a correct cable in a bunch.
