Member manufacturers are certified to comply with established industry standards and U.S. DOT`s Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS). Their website (NATM Compliance) lists the manufactures who meet this certification. Does the competition meet this standard?

After years of towing an open deck steel trailer around, I wanted to get back into an enclosed trailer. It had to be all aluminum, light, well built, reasonably priced, and still get noticed at the track. After looking at several competitors, some costing more than my car, my research led me to Forest River trailers. The 20` Lightning (Strike) seemed to fit the bill while weighing only 150 pounds more than my steel open deck trailer.
