Vertical pan fires are used for drying as well as for heating up various types of pans. All MAPEKO fires are individually designed and manufactured.

The converter heater by MAPEKO is designed to serve dual purposes - drying and heating of converters and RH vessels. These heaters are customized and individually manufactured to meet specific needs and applications. They can be configured to perform various tasks, including vertical heating and employing the MAPEKO Soft Drying System FOEHN®. This system allows for extremely slow and controlled temperature increases, less than 10°C per hour, which is especially critical for the drying of monolithic refractory linings, reducing the risk of thermal stress and promoting uniform drying. MAPEKO also offers horizontal heaters, providing versatile solutions for different industrial heating requirements.
