Cogeneration
Martin - Bio-Gas Fuels
Bio-gas is the product of anaerobic decomposition by microbes in putrescible organic material. These microbes feed off carbohydrates and fats, producing methane and carbon dioxides as metabolic waste products. Bio-gas consists of primarily methane (the source of energy within the fuel) and carbon dioxide. Bio-gas may also contain small amounts of nitrogen or hydrogen. Contaminants in the bio-gas can include sulphur or siloxanes, but these contaminants will vary, depending on the organic material being used. This methane gas (bio-gas) can be harnessed for a reliable source of sustainable energy.
Martin - Natural Gas CHP System
Martin Energy Group has an efficient, clean, and reliable solution to generating power and thermal energy from a single source of fuel. By integrating our state-of-the-art CHP system into your facility, you can meet your base loads of electricity and thermal demands efficiently while decreasing energy costs and reducing the emissions of greenhouse gases. The Modular approach allows you to easily integrate the natural gas power generation system into your current infrastructure.
Martin - Dual Fuel Blending Gas Engine Control System
Blending, Fuel Blending gas engine control system is designed for gas engines used in applications where the energy quality of the fuel supply is variable, but where the customer wants to be able to supplement “Fuel 1with Fuel 2”. The Fuel Blending system combines natural gas with other fuels, adjusting the fuel mix continuously during engine operation to achieve desired power outputs or when one gas is in low supply. The Fuel Blending system consists of an engine controller that performs speed/load control, air-fuel ratio control, ignition control, diagnostics, and basic engine protection. These functions are structured so that the customercan implement only what is needed
Power Generation
Martin - Emergency & Standby Portable Generator
Standby generators offer a steadfast solution to extended outages. Unlike portable generators, they’re installed permanently and will provide uninterrupted backup power. Blackouts are nothing new, but major storms over the past two years have hammered home the importance of electrical power. A standby generator can ensure your business remains energized for days. MEG can provide solutions to your backup power needs!
Martin - Combined Heat and Power (CHP) System
A Combined Heat and Power (CHP) system is typically connected to the utility grid and operates in parallel with it under normal conditions. However, when the utility grid fails or becomes “Unhealthy,” a Synchronous Cogeneration system seamlessly transitions into island mode. In island mode, the CHP system ensures continuity of power supply to the facility or microgrid.
Martin - Exhaust Heat Recovery CHP Conventional System
In a conventional system, approximately two thirds of the fuel burned to generate power is lost as heat. Our engineered Exhaust heat recovery systems allow you to capture thermal energy from your exhaust gases, engine jacket water, and oil cooling systems. This recovered heat can be utilized to produce hot process water or steam for a wide variety of useful applications such as heating and processing.
Martin - Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG)
A heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) is an energy recovery heat exchanger that recovers heat from a hot gas stream. It produces steam that can be used in a process (cogeneration) or used to drive a steam turbine (combined cycle).
