ROBA-Stop - Electromagnetic Safety Brakes

ROBA-stop-M safety brakes are designed for mounting on the free shaft end. They provide a secure hold and can brake moving masses or loads from moving. In the event of a power failure, in the event of a fault or if the servo brake in the drive motor fails, the ROBA-stop®-M brakes hold the axis in any position and thus prevent uncontrolled dropping or falling. This not only protects the worker from injury, but also the drive, the tools and the workpieces to be machined from damage.

ROBA - Torque-Measuring Machine Elements

EAS - High-Speed Torque Limiters

The EAS -HSE is a positive-locking, disengaging torque limiting clutch according to the ball-recess principle. During operation, the set torque is transmitted from the hub via the pressure flange or the flange hub to the output. If the set torque is exceeded (overload case), the clutch disengages. During disengagement, the pins in the overload elements perform an axial movement (stroke) and remain in the disengaged position. Trailing masses can run out freely. Re-engagement takes place manually.

EAS - Compact - Backlash-free Torque Limiting Clutches

The EAS® -compact is a positive-locking, detenting or disengaging safety clutch based on the ball-recess principle. The clutch protects the driveline against impermissibly high torque surges which can occur due to unforeseen blockages.

ROBA - Stepper Module

The ROBA -takt stepper module is an electromagnetic clutch-brake unit and, while the drive machine is constantly running, generates cyclic operation by alternate clutching and braking. ROBA® -takt stepping module guarantees high cycle rates. Due to the completely enclosed design (protection class IP55), designed according to VDE and IEC regulations, the ROBA®-takt stepper module is ideal for all standardized motors and gear units. This means that many different installation positions can be implemented. Due to the patented principle of self-adjustment, the ROBA®-takt stepper module is positioned accurately and maintenance-free for its entire service life.

The ROBA-brake-checker is a smart module for monitoring safety brakes. With it, you have the condition and function of the brakes constantly under control. The ROBA-brake-checker works without sensors installed in the brake, does not affect the design and can be retrofitted without any problems. The switching device enables planned maintenance, remote maintenance and maximum operational safety of your brake systems.
