The MFM10-1 is a sheath fault location system for the testing, pre-location, and pinpointing of sheath faults. It is easy to use, precise, and fast. It works using the menu-supported `Easy Go` test system, which is intuitive to operate, interprets the results, and requires minimal training. As such, the MFM10-1 can automatically test the cables and evaluate the measured data, giving you a fast, easy, and reliable tool to test the insulation of cable sheaths, and to pre-locate and pinpoint any detected faults. 

The Megger Advanced range of 5 kV, 10 kV, and 15 kV insulation resistance testers is ideal for engineers and technicians performing insulation testing on transformers, motors, switchgear, and cables in environments up to 230 kV. These instruments support IR, DAR, PI, DD, SV, ramp, and PDC (with software), providing the diagnostic depth needed for condition assessment and maintenance planning.

The range includes two models: the MIT515 (up to 5 kV) and MIT1015 (up to 10 kV), both supporting insulation resistance, dielectric absorption ratio (DAR), and polarisation index (PI) testing. Megger’s PI Predictor™ reduces PI test duration by up to 50%, boosting productivity when testing multiple phases.

With the quick test mode, all relevant settings are on one screen, ready to select and begin testing. 

The SMRT1, 1D and 1B single-phase relay test system are units that combine high compliance voltage with high current to test electromechanical, solid-state and microprocessor-based overcurrent relays, including voltage controlled, voltage restraint, and directional overcurrent. Furthermore, it has the same IEC 61850 capabilities both for GOOSE and SV as its multi-phase siblings.
