Met-Chem’s equipment manufacturing began with filter presses and clarifiers and gradually grew to include sludge dryers and complete waste treatment systems and component parts. While building this equipment Met-Chem still maintained our sewing department for the manufacturing of filter press cloths, anode bags, and filter bags. Our years of experience have provided us with the knowledge to understand waste treatment needs for a variety of applications.

While Filter Presses have been the focus of Met-Chem manufacturing for many years, we have built a solid reputation for building quality Clarifiers, Sludge Dryers, Complete Waste Treatment Systems, Filter Cloths, and Bags.

Our equipment has been used in a variety of industries from plating and metal finishing to chemical, food and beverage processing to name a few. Met-Chem features heavy duty steel construction. Using modern manufacturing processes, our equipment and systems can be tailored to your specific space and system needs. We can offer new or totally reconditioned used equipment to save time and cost.
We can provide water treatment testing, engineering drawings, manufacturing, installation, and turn-key start-up of your system.

Our offices and manufacturing facility is located in Cleveland, Ohio. Our original building was destroyed by a fire in 2011. However, we regrouped and moved across the street to our new and much larger home. While the fire was devastating, we were able to recover quickly with almost no shipping delays for our customers, thanks to our dedicated staff. The future success of our companies are intact not only by our loyal well-trained staff, but also the next generation of Senney family members are in key positions in our group of companies.
