Metacon - Combined heat and power (CHP) systems
The CHP system by Metacon offers a seamless combined heat and power solution, featuring a robust capacity of generating 5 kW of electrical power and up to 7 kW of heating power. This system is engineered for flexibility, compatible with natural gas, propane/LPG, or biogas, which ensures versatile energy utilization. Central to the system is a proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEM-FC) that proficiently converts these fuels into electrical power with high efficiency. The unit's advanced power management capability allows it to adapt to both AC and DC power sources, making it suitable for either grid integration or independent installations. With an emphasis on safety, noise reduction, and environmental sustainability, the CHP system emits significantly fewer pollutants compared to conventional technologies and operates at an electrical efficiency of over 35 percent, more than double that of traditional diesel generators. This technological marvel is underpinned by Metacon's patented reactor configurations that enhance heat exchange and optimize fuel processing.
