Middleton Solar - Precision Pyranometer
The Middleton EQ09-A is a precision pyranometer for the measurement of global solar irradiance on a plane surface. It exceeds the ISO 9060:2018 specifications for a Spectrally Flat Class A Pyranometer. It is also available as a Secondary Standard Pyranometer to superseded ISO 9060:1990. The EQ09-A has a precision thermoelectric sensor that has exceptionally low directional error without compromise to signal strength or response time. The EQ09-AE version has an in-built amplifier to give a millivolt output for easy signal measurement. The EQ18-A and EQ18-AE Albedometer version of the EQ09-A is available to special order.
Middleton Solar - Photodiode Pyranometer
The SK01-D2 is a simple pyranometer for monitoring total solar global radiation on a plane surface. The SK01-DP2 version incorporates a special interference reflector to limit its sensitivity to the Photosynthetically Active Radiation region of the solar spectrum (400-700nm).
Middleton Solar - Affordable Pyranometer
The Middleton SK08 is an affordable pyranometer for the measurement of global solar irradiance on a plane surface. It meets the ISO specifications for a Class B pyranometer. The SK08 incorporates a passive thermoelectric sensor. The SK08-E version has an inbuilt signal amplifier.
Middleton Solar - Precision Pyranometer
The Middleton EQ08-B is a precision pyranometer for the measurement of global solar irradiance on a plane surface. It exceeds the ISO specifications for a Spectrally Flat Class B Pyranometer. The EQ08-B incorporates a state-of-the-art precision thermoelectric sensor. The EQ08-BE version has an inbuilt signal amplifier.
Middleton Solar - Solar Total Pyranometers
Very fast response time is ideal for solar Photovoltaic Power Plant monitoring. The ER08-S Pyranometer features an innovative new design of detector with very low zero off-set and fast thermopile response to give reduced measurement uncertainty in comparison to conventional pyranometer designs that use an exposed blackened thermopile. The detector incorporates a cosine-corrected entrance aperture, a compact integrating cavity, and an encapsulated thermopile with a Field-Of-View restricted to the cavity. The Middleton Solar ER08-S exceeds the ISO 9060:1990 specifications for a very high quality Secondary Standard Pyranometer. The ER08-SE version has an in-built amplifier with a millivolt output for easy signal measurement.
Middleton Solar - Pyrano-Albedometer
The Middleton Solar SK16 Pyrano-Albedometer is a dual head sensor based on the detector elements of the SK08 First Class Pyranometer. It is for the measurement of the ratio of upward to downward solar radiation flux density on a plane surface. The SK16 has two separate microvolt outputs. The SK16-E has millivolt outputs.
