The Indirect Fired Heater is the key to a warmer, more comfortable building environment. It brings exterior make-up air into the facility where the air is filtered, then it travels across a tubular heat exchanger heated by an indirect gas-fired burner to raise the temperature. These heaters ensure proper pressure balance, steady air flow, and uniform temperatures. This heater is suitable for indoor and outdoor configuration up to 45,556 CFM. Each indirect fired heater unit ships factory wired, piped, and test fired. While these units are generally used for heating, they can also be fitted with direct expansion (DX) air conditioning coils or evaporative cooling systems.

A Direct Fired Heater is the key to a warmer, more comfortable building environment. Moffitt Direct Fired Heaters warm the building by introducing fresh air into the facility. These heaters ensure proper pressure balance, steady air flow, and uniform temperatures. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor configuration up to 125,000 CFM. Each direct fired heater unit ships factory wired, piped, and test fired. While these units are generally used for heating, they can also be fitted with direct expansion (DX) air conditioning coils or evaporative cooling systems.

The Moffitt Air Turnover Unit (ATU) recirculates air within the building to maintain more uniform temperatures. Minimal equipment is required to prevent air stagnation and stratification. Additional options to provide heating, cooling, ventilation, and filtration are available. A base mounted air turnover unit costs less and are quicker to install than many other types of air movement systems.
