Morand eTechnology is an ultra-fast rechargeable battery pack that has the potential to revolutionise mobility – recharging city cars in 72 seconds, for example. eTechnology uses innovative hybrid ultracapacitors (HUC) cells from Sech SA in combination with advanced controllers to recharge and discharge rapidly.

Born from the Morand Hypercar project, the Morand Advanced Hybrid System outclasses conventional equivalents with better performance in both power delivery and recuperation during braking. 2-minute recharge: It uses an energy store with a capacity of around 7.2 kWh and stores enough energy to cover up to 70 km in a small city car using Full-Electric mode or around 305 km when using hybrid mode. It uses Morand eTechnology to achieve very fast charging – a complete recharge in 2 minutes.
