Morgan Advanced Materials' Technical Ceramics division specializes in leveraging advanced material science and application expertise to engineer components that significantly enhance reliability and performance in demanding or critical environments. These advanced ceramic components cater to various markets such as electronics, energy, healthcare, industrial, petrochemicals, security, and transport. In 2024, the Technical Ceramics segment reported revenue of £337.3 million, reflecting a 3.7% increase in organic constant-currency terms despite weaknesses in global industrial markets. Morgan has recently expanded its capabilities with a new CVD-SiC manufacturing site in Daegu, South Korea, aiming to support semiconductor industry growth. The division also excels in producing brazed assemblies with precision engineering for critical applications, meeting the stringent requirements of the aero-engine, automotive, and semiconductor sectors.
