Working with Rockland Scientific, MRV developed the microALTO float as a version of our standard ALTO Argo float. The main addition is a Rockland MAPLe™ microstructure turbulence probe kit installed in the top-cap. The microALTO has the capacity for two different, or same, type probes to be installed - any combination of temperature or shear as pre-ordered by the customer.
