MTA has been developing and producing automotive fuses since 1954 and is a member of ISO committee with several OEMs homologations. Each year MTA invests in Research & Development to grant state-of-the-art products to remain at the forefront of technological innovation. A dedicated Research & Innovation Team concentrates on entering new products lines in the market, presenting new solutions and new technologies to secure a leading competitive position. In fact, besides the most known Mini, Standard and Maxi blade fuses, and the Midi and Mega bolt-down fuses, MTA has developed two special ranges called “Compact” and “Power”.

MTA Power Distribution Units are studied and realized to meet OE customers needs. MTA Power Distribution Units allow power distribution and the protection of primary and non primary services. They also allow a better rationalization of loads and consequently a better layout in the engine compartment. PDU are available in two different solutions: “hard-wired” and “stand-alone” . For the first a bus-bar solution is chosen, while for the second type MTA uses PCB technology.

For some years now, MTA has been developing and producing components suitable for 48 V and up to 800 V electrical architectures to support the most energy-demanding systems.

MTA develops and manufactures on-board battery chargers under EDN brand for a wide range of hybrid or electric vehicles. The OBCs are easy to be integrated in the vehicles, and they are built to resist hard environments.

EVO series galvanically converts single and three phase AC voltage to up to 1000 VDC link with high efficiency and reliability. EVO is designed to be flexible and compatible with all international power grids. Its sealed and rugged design, tested through a strong validation and certification process with thousand devices running in the field, makes it a reliable solution for any battery powered application.
