nanoFlowcell - Stationary Energy Storage

At present, flow cells are generally only known as garage-sized constructions for stationary energy storage in wind turbines and solar systems. But with our nanoFlowcell®, we have managed to bring a flow cell down to the size of a briefcase and at the same time increase the energy density of the electrolytes by a factor of ten. The development of nanoFlowcell® has thus rendered flow cell technology powerful and mobile, opening up completely new technical perspectives for a wide range of applications.

nanoFlowcell Artificial Intelligence

Disruptive innovations are born when sudden advances in technology meet urgent societal needs. Through the use of nanoFlowcell® technology in various industries, we have been able to learn more about those industries’ specific products as well as their purpose, allowing us to identify significant product improvements. We offer our industry partners to evaluate their products and applications to reveal untapped product potential. For instance, we can show how existing applications would benefit from n-AI and our algorithm compositions, or jointly create new smart innovations that can be adapted to the evolving needs of our society. We have enhanced our powerful n-AI algorithms and multimodal cognitive software to develop humaN48, a humanoid robot with advanced cognitive capabilities and human motion patterns.

Low-voltage Technology

Our nanoFlowcell® can be used for both low-voltage and high-voltage applications. The various QUANT prototypes demonstrate the application of the nanoFlowcell® in different voltage environments. In the automotive sector, however, we will concentrate fully on low-voltage applications in the future, as the merits of a low-voltage drive system outweigh those of a high-voltage drive system. Our QUANT electric sports cars are presently the most advanced and powerful low-voltage electric vehicles in existence – and also the only ones to have road approval.

As a research and development company, we focus on researching new applications for our nanoFlowcell® technology. However, our integrative R&D approach sees nanoFlowcell® as an energy source, not as a singular technology. For that reason, we always consider the overall system within which our technology is incorporated. In the case of the QUANT 48VOLT and QUANTiNO 48VOLT, we designed the entire electric drive from scratch in order to create a perfect match between the drive system and the energy system. The result is our innovative nanoFlowcell® 48VOLT drive concept with low-voltage technology, which brings together zero-emissions mobility and amazing performance.

Quant 48Volt

QUANT 48VOLT shows the evolution of the nanoFlowcell® electric drive and the shift from high-voltage to low-voltage-based vehicle systems. The 48VOLT name is a reminder that low-voltage flow cell technology is used here. QUANT 48VOLT is the world’s first sports car with a low-voltage drive system. In spite of this, it offers breathtaking performance. The 760 PS electric car with a torque of 2,000 Newton metres per wheel accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.4 seconds. With the nanoFlowcell® 48VOLT drive system, the QUANT 48VOLT exudes self-confidence. While its performance underlines the fun factor of a electrically powered sports car, the flow cell electric drive in the QUANT 48VOLT is also the lightest, safest, most environmentally friendly and economical powertrain system currently available for electric vehicles.
