nanoFlowcell - Stationary Energy Storage
At present, flow cells are generally only known as garage-sized constructions for stationary energy storage in wind turbines and solar systems. But with our nanoFlowcell®, we have managed to bring a flow cell down to the size of a briefcase and at the same time increase the energy density of the electrolytes by a factor of ten. The development of nanoFlowcell® has thus rendered flow cell technology powerful and mobile, opening up completely new technical perspectives for a wide range of applications.

Low-voltage Technology
Our nanoFlowcell® can be used for both low-voltage and high-voltage applications. The various QUANT prototypes demonstrate the application of the nanoFlowcell® in different voltage environments. In the automotive sector, however, we will concentrate fully on low-voltage applications in the future, as the merits of a low-voltage drive system outweigh those of a high-voltage drive system. Our QUANT electric sports cars are presently the most advanced and powerful low-voltage electric vehicles in existence – and also the only ones to have road approval.

As a research and development company, we focus on researching new applications for our nanoFlowcell® technology. However, our integrative R&D approach sees nanoFlowcell® as an energy source, not as a singular technology. For that reason, we always consider the overall system within which our technology is incorporated. In the case of the QUANT 48VOLT and QUANTiNO 48VOLT, we designed the entire electric drive from scratch in order to create a perfect match between the drive system and the energy system. The result is our innovative nanoFlowcell® 48VOLT drive concept with low-voltage technology, which brings together zero-emissions mobility and amazing performance.
