The Netcon GW502-iM is a compactly packaged gateway and protocol converter built specifically for harsh substation environments. A standalone device without a rack, it can easily be duplicated to form a redundant, fault-tolerant pair.

Improve network availability; Remote and local control of feeder switching devices. Bidirectional fault detection. Detection of transient cable faults. Automatic fault-triggered tripping for feeder protection. Alternatively, automatic network reconfiguration in response to MV faults.

Featuring a powerful motor and a rapid gear, the Netcon 1 is an actuator for the control of disconnectors and load switches with breaking chambers or breaking whips. It is easy to install and has built-in electronics and control panel.

High quality voltage and current sensors by Greenwood-Power. No RTU alone, however smart, can measure switchgear voltage and feeder current without the appropriate kind of sensors. Because the type of network, the switchgear and the customer requirements vary widely, it would be impossible to include a fixed set of sensors with an RTU like the Netcon 200. Different options are needed.
